What can I bring into the rodeo grounds? How do I become a contestant? Who can become a rodeo queen? Where can I park? How do I buy tickets? We’ll answer those questions and more in the FAQs below.
Yes. We are always looking for ways to help support our local non profit organizations. For example the Livingston Roundup needs people to sell programs; clean up after the fireworks. Please complete the form under get involved and someone will contact you.
Parking is available on a first come first serve basis. There is open street parking in addition to some availability at St. Mary's Church and the vacant lot by Mayor's Landing. Handicap parking is accessed through the east gate.
We offer a single, central parking lot for contestants. All contestants must show their pass and companion pass upon entrance into the rodeo grounds.
For everyone’s safety, refrain from bringing large bags, coolers, strollers, dogs (except service animals), guns, drugs, alcohol inside the gates.
All items will be subject to search. We also prohibit any professional photography that has not been approved by the rodeo.
Becoming a rodeo queen is as simple as submitting an application! Please click here for our 2024 Rodeo Queen application. Contestants must be between the ages of 18-24 and residents of Montana.
Yes, anyone entering the rodeo grounds needs to have a ticket regardless of age.
The Concession stand selling food and drinks operated by the Livingston Roundup take tokens only that you purchase from the token booth. Tokens can be purchased by cash or credit. Tshirts can be purchased by cash or credit card. The bar accepts cash or credit. The other vendors accept only cash. There is an ATM on site.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink night raises money for the Cancer Society. Contestants who win the go round and are wearing pink earn an additional $200. An auction is held during the rodeo with proceeds going to the Park County Cancer Alliance. We encourage all attendees to wear pink on July 3rd to support this cause.

No. Once you enter you are not allowed to leave and reenter.
The Secretary’s office is in the log building behind the bucking stock pens at the rear of the fairgrounds.
Yes. Handicap parking is accessed through the east contestant gate. Seating is available on the east side of the main grandstand. You must have a handicap rodeo ticket to enter and handicap placard for the vehicle.
Gates open at 6:00 pm. The performance starts at 8:00 pm.
No. We do not have any discounted ticket prices.
The Livingston Roundup Fireworks fund is a registered 501 3(c) organization. To donate you can email livingstonroundup@gmaill.com for information or send a check to PO Box 800, Livingston, MT 59047 with a notation that it’s a donation to the Fireworks. You will be sent a donation deduction form upon request.
Slack is free to the public. Seating is first come, first served. No concessions. Slack starts at 3:00 on June 30th (timed events only - no rough stock). Barrel Racing (only) Slack is at 11:00 am on July 4th.
