The Livingston Roundup Rodeo Association began a website refresh and multi-year sponsorship with JTech Communications in 2023. We are thrilled with the reliability, positive community feedback, and improvements in member/volunteer requests and sponsorships gained through our new website.
IT WAS TIME FOR A WEBSITE REFRESH
The Livingston Roundup Rodeo Association’s first website was built in 2015, and It served us well for the next few years. However, by 2023, the layout no longer met our needs, and changing the content in-house was time-consuming
In short, it was time to refresh our website with modern technology and design.

The Livingston Roundup Rodeo is a Montana institution. So, our non-profit board needed to ensure that we made the correct choice for the future of the rodeo. We took our time talking to various website design companies. Every meeting we had with JTech Communications stood out. The LRA team members, who are all volunteers, are both extremely busy and not well-versed in website design So, we were unable to spend a large amount of time on this important project. We needed to rely on JTech’s expertise. After the website was built, we could rely on JTech’s Bozeman-based customer support team to explain each aspect of our new website with patience and clarity.

After launch, we found that My JTech — JTech’s content management system — was easy to navigate and change. Most importantly, we can now update our website without worrying about breaking the most important pages. We no longer have to rely on one person to update the website. We now have several team members sharing the responsibility of updating different sections, thus ensuring that our website is always up to date. It would be hard to overstate how much peace of mind this offers our team.
Finally, the website’s banner, countdown clock, and events calendar features are indispensable for selling tickets and recruiting talent.

We’ve had more volunteer applications this year than we’ve had in any year before 2024
We’ve had several large sponsors contact our team following the website refresh.
Our new website design played a large role in each inquiry we have received. The overall design is professional, our board members are featured prominently on our new About Us page, and our impact is clearly displayed.
